Ep. 38 – The Bittersweet End: Taking a Scalpel to Faith

In this episode of A Matter of Doubt we interview Marcus, the creator of The Bittersweet End blog. Marcus provided us with The Atheist Challenge questions that we answered in a previous episode. It was in part through these answers that helped Marcus come to embrace his new worldview. Marcus describes specific bible difficulties that caused him to doubt its inerrancy and then his faith in God. We also discussed the pains he is going though with his family as a result of his honest quest for truth.

    Nice job on this interview.  I’ve known Marcus for over a year now, because I run another blog called Finding Truth.  It’s been interesting watching his transition over the last year, but there were some things about his story that I didn’t know until you covered them in this podcast.  I didn’t know about you guys until he posted about your show on his blog, but I’ll be going back through some of your older podcasts.
